Electrify America has completed its first cross-country network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, no more than 70 miles apart, to support the adoption of zero-local emissions vehicles. The second route is scheduled to be in place by September.
To make electric vehicles even more environmentally friendly, the electricity sources for the charging stations should ultimately be renewable (solar, wind, hydro), but this is an excellent step toward lowering carbon emissions.
